  • Discoveries- Explorers can find new places, species of animals and scientific discoveries that can help us determine our future and also help make us decisions which can help us in the future. Scientists conducted a study and we know that the temperature in the Arctic Regions has an impact on the countries in the mid-latitude areas in terms of the temperature. This will also help the scientists get a more reliable idea about the climate in the Arctic and mid- latitude areas. It will help us discover how the local communities that live in the Arctic Region survive in the extreme conditions because it will teach us about preservation and how to survive in the Arctic. We might discover natural resources such as oil, gas and gold to benefit the economy of a country as that country could use those resources and sell it to other countries. 

  • Interactions- Interactions can be made with the local people of the Arctic Regions such as the Sami and the Inuit and we can learn about their lifestyles and many of them also help the tourists in their expeditions.

  • Benefits- It helps us gain our knowledge about the arctic Region and we can teach other people about it. People can also become famous by achieving the fame of reaching the North Pole and coming back alive in such extreme and dangerous conditions. The local people can get economical benefit as they guide the tourists in their expeditions. Some of the locals even open markets and hotels in order to earn money. If people from natural resources organizations come and find the gold, it could benefit the amount of gold they have that they could use to sell to the rest of their customers, this would give them a economic benefit. 

Dangers of Arctic Exploration!

  • Consequences- Explorers who go the the Arctic Region have to face extreme conditions because avalanches and snowstorms and deadly storms that can kill people and they happen quite frequently without any alerts. Also, finding and hunting food can be a problem and many people starve to death and some even freeze to death. Also, there are many people that may destroy the habitat of the Arctic Exploration by messing with the animals and even throwing their rubbish anywhere which would make the place look dirty and if animals eat those things, it could be dangerous for them. Some animals can get poisoned and they might die. Other example of animals getting killed is that Polar bears often like to look at the items that humans bring with them such as their tents or cabins and some people just kill them because they think that all Polar Bears are always a threat which is a false statement.
